Roasted grains, charred nuts with touches of not-so-sweet chocolate and a splash of coffee. A touch of roasted grain astringency, as well as the smokiness from the nose. A faint hint of caramel peeks out from the roastiness from time to time. Restrained earthy, herbal hops with bit of bitterness that melds into the smokey roast malt and lightly warming alcohol. Bitterish, roasty finish with lingering warmth.
